Because of the low numbers of women in the computer science fields, action needs to be taken to empower young girls and encourage them to pursue technology as a career. Christina Li, the high school founder of this not-for-profit, runs a a free 5 day long camp for middle school girls to learn computer science. The middle-school age girls learn web development, hardware programming, app creation, game design, and robotics!
